Reading as Resistance

Every page turned is a stand against silence.

The CodeGreen Library was built on the belief that stories can outlast silence. It’s a growing collection of books, essays, and voices that keep learning alive when classrooms are out of reach. Every girl has free access to borrow books, explore new ideas, and learn at her own pace, no barriers and no cost.

Through our Book Club, girls and young women come together to read, question, and reclaim the narratives once denied to them. Each conversation becomes an act of courage — a space where learning turns into leadership.

Beyond our library, CodeGreen has distributed more than 1,000 STEM and educational books to students across local communities, putting knowledge directly into the hands of those who need it most.

Because every time a girl reads, she reclaims her power. And when she shares that story, the movement grows

Debate and reflection sessions

Bake sales to provide books for our library

Through our Book Distribution program, we’ve shared over 1,000 STEM Chapters.

On Women’s Day, CodeGreen celebrated by distributing diaries, pens, and flowers, empowering girls to write their own stories.

Every book distributed is an act of resistance , a reminder that education cannot be banned, silenced, or taken away.
